Martin Awano is a filmmaker and director of photography based in New York and Chicago. He is a DOC NYC Video Consortium Storytelling Fellow and a Fulbright-National Geographic Semi-Finalist. He has filmed for Discovery, Frontline, and PBS. He holds leadership positions in The Asian American Documentary Network, The Video Consortium, and The Filmshop’s Docshop.
